SINGLE-EVENT BROADCASTS
A broadcast for
one sim racing event.
Planning an invitational, a championship round or a special event? Start with a broadcast built around that event’s format, running time and audience.
You’ll work directly with Tom to agree the production brief. Commentary, graphics and any work after the broadcast can be included where required, with the scope set out in your quote.
What we agree before the event
- Coverage: the sessions being shown and the agreed start and finish times.
- Production responsibilities: what 2F Media will handle and what the organiser will supply.
- Commentary and graphics: the people, branding and on-screen information the production needs.
- Delivery: where viewers will watch, the replay arrangements and any additional edits.
What to send for a quote
Tell me the sim platform, proposed date, event format and expected running time. Include a link to your league or event, any existing logos or graphics, and where you would like the broadcast to appear.
Mention the commentary, graphics or highlights you have in mind. If you have a budget, include that too.
Quoted around your event
Preparation, coverage time and production requirements all affect the scope. I’ll review your brief, check the date and setup, then set out the proposed work and price.
Planning a championship?
We can also discuss coverage across several rounds. Send the calendar and formats so we can work through a season brief.
Commentary
& punditry.
Motorsport and sim racing commentary, analysis and discussion with Tom O’Farrell. The role can cover race coverage, pre-race build-up, post-race reaction or a contribution to an existing programme.
Tell me about the series or event, dates, expected time on air and the role you need. Commentary, punditry and production responsibilities are agreed separately in the brief.
Online events
& panels.
Production for webinars, interviews, discussions and online launches. A brief can include speaker checks, a running order, branded graphics, live operation and a recording afterwards.
Share the format, number of contributors, intended platform and date. Any hosting or moderation role is agreed alongside the technical responsibilities.
Video, voice
& explainers.
Editing for films, recorded events and promotional content. Bring your existing footage, or discuss the script and structure before recording.
Voiceovers & narration
Narration for event trailers, promotional films, explainers and short documentaries. The brief can combine script development, voice recording, editing and versions for different channels.
Explainer & training videos
Clear demonstrations of a product, system or process, using screen recordings, footage, graphic callouts and captions. Work from an approved process, with the software version or setup agreed before recording.
For a quote, send the source material or a draft script, the approximate finished length, where it will appear and your deadline.
Podcasts, interviews
& audio stories.
Planning and production support for audio and video podcasts, interviews and recorded programmes. The brief can cover preparation, recording arrangements, editing and files for publication.
Audio guides & visitor stories
Short narrated stories and edited interviews for visitor attractions, historic places and businesses. Start with one story or a small series, using approved facts, recordings and archive material.
Tell me the topic, audience, approximate length and where people will listen. Narration, transcripts and supporting artwork can be included in the brief.
Reports, profiles
& interviews.
Motorsport previews and race reports, driver profiles, interviews, sponsor updates and newsletters. The starting point is the story you want to tell and the people you want to reach.
Send the event details, results, notes, approved quotes and images you have. Research, interviews and supporting graphics or video can be scoped alongside the writing.
We’ll agree the deliverables, publication destination and deadline before work begins.
Before we get started.
How do I get a quote?
Describe the work you need, share any source material and say when you need it. Include a budget if you have one; we can use the brief to discuss the scope and price.
Which sim platforms can you cover?
My broadcast work includes Assetto Corsa. Tell me which simulation and event setup you use so I can check what is possible before quoting.
Can we start with one event and discuss more later?
Yes. We can scope a single event first. If you would like coverage for further rounds, send the calendar so we can review the production requirements and availability.
Can you join an existing broadcast team?
Yes. Tell me whether you need a commentary, punditry or production role, and share the running order and technical setup. We’ll agree the responsibilities and availability before confirming the work.
Can you edit recordings I already have?
Yes. You can send footage or a recording you already have. Include a link, its approximate length and what you want the finished piece to be.
Can the project include graphics?
Yes. Broadcast overlays, titles, thumbnails and supporting social graphics can form part of the brief. Explore graphic design and motion.
